Synopsis
Just A Game is a story following the life of detective and single father Alan Stewart, as he tries to balance taking care of his young daughter Molly and investigating a series of murders that have been taking place in the city of Cercyon Mars. Everything gets thrown for a loop when Alan falls in love with the person behind all of the murders he’s investigating, a stupidly charming criminal named Miles. Now, he has to figure out what’s more important, upholding the law in his city and arresting Miles before she can do more damage or follow his heart and let himself fall in love.
Inspo
A lot of inspiration for Just A Game comes from the fiction podcast The Penumbra Podcast, a lot of things present in Just A Game are pulled from Penumbra, but with my own lil Juno twist on it! I’ve been working on Just A Game for about 4 years now, and the plot and characters have changed a lot, but this story is very near and dear to my heart and I cannot wait to turn this into its own comic. One day.
